Did You Know?

Polar bears are one of nature’s most efficient users of solar energy. Every strand of hair that makes up the polar bear’s luxurious white coat is translucent. These translucent white hairs act to direct the sun’s heat down to the polar bear’s skin, which surprisingly is black.
